BRAND STORY

At an early age, brand founder Pierre Jacquet-Droz studied clockmaking under older relatives. During his married and family life, he had actively pursued his career in clockmaking. He lost his wife and, shortly after, a daughter. But it was his encounter with George Keith, Earl Marischal, governor of the principality of Neuchâtel that had encouraged him to present his grandfather clocks in Spain. With a triumphant presentation, he was applauded and was rewarded witha sum of cash that we would eventually use to establish his company.

Jacquet Droz dial-makers are updated with the latest advancements in timepieces and the technicalities involved in it. They also honor the art of enamel painting. The decorative technique is used on a handful of exceptional fragments in a collection. Eveything is hand-painted with the aid of a microscope, taking at least one week to finish a distinctive piece. 

RARITY AND EXCLUSIVITY

The company can customize a personal piece on request, giving power to the client to tweak and tailor their own piece. The work takes up to two to six months, ensuring that the outcome exceeds expectations.
