About the Talikwas Eco-Lodge
Tucked away in ancient limestone cliffs, Talikwas Eco Lodge sits 88 steps up from its secluded white sand beach. Accessible by boat or a forest trail to Corong Corong Beach, this peaceful half-acre nature retreat offers magnificent views, simple charm, and privacy. El Nido Town is 15-20 minutes away by transport, or 30-40 minutes by foot.
Welcome to Talikwas Eco-Lodge! The perfect space for adventurous travelers seeking an authentic El Nido experience. We’re pleased to host you whether you’re looking to arrange an intimate yoga workshop, a family vacation, a group excursion, or searching for a private haven for a lucky pair.
Talikwas Eco-Lodge offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the private and pristine elements of the El Nido sea, forest, and ancient limestone cliffs. This paradise is home to rare species of birds, monkeys, lizards, and other wildlife, and is landscaped with flowers and verdant greenery.
IMPORTANT: If you are accustomed to four-star hotels, this home is probably not for you. Please understand that staying in a secluded location means that not all comforts will be available. Mosquitoes and other bugs are seasonal. Noise pollution from the nearby town is not insulated and is occasionally audible. There is no AC, hot water, or wi-fi. Please plan to be a little more in touch with nature.
We provide mosquito nets, fans, comfortable queen-size beds, and outlets for charging electronic devices during daylight hours (we operate on solar power). Cell towers provide service for mobile phones. If your itinerary involves constantly going in and out of El Nido Town, it will be difficult. Please be aware there is a stair path one must walk up from the beach. It is not appropriate for someone who has serious medical issues.
If you have young children, bear in mind there are two open staircases and an open wrap around terrace. Children have to be carefully monitored when they are in these areas.
You are welcome to wander the property and neighboring areas. Meditate and stargaze on the yoga platform that overlooks the bay. Experienced climbers can take a marked trail that leads up the high cliffs to overlook Bacuit Bay. Climbers can exercise on the ancient limestone boulders and cliffs by the beach. More relaxed vacationers have the beachfront at their disposal, along with lounging around the house and taking in the vista on the wrap-around porch.
Native reefs are easily accessible from the beach front. Bring a snorkel because there are lots of interesting fish! Explore the hidden caves that are a short swim from the beachfront. Finally, use our 2 person kayak for exploring nearby areas.
