Necker Island: Richard Branson Island reopens for the public

After suffering the damage from Hurricane Irma, Necker Island is pleased to welcome visitors again to their delight.

The British entrepreneur, known for founding the Virgin Group empire, is also a great lover of nature and wilderness. That is why, a few years ago, he undertook the purchase of several islands, including Necker Island, located in the British Virgin Islands, for which he would have paid only $180,000 at the time.

Although the island was for several years the resort of the Branson family (and also its place of marriage), the latter decided to transform it to make the most of its beauties to the greatest number. On 30 hectares, you can discover one of the most idyllic places in the British Virgin Islands.

A true definition of luxury, the island doesn't just offer luxury services such as fine dining, fun activities and state-of-the-art facilities (even if it owns all this): it offers you a setting, an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else.

Able to accommodate up to 40 people, you can book the entire island for lavish events (from $105,000/night with food and drink, facilities and water activities included), but you also have the opportunity to book only one room from the estate, for more intimate holidays starting at $5,000/night.

"Come as guests, leave as friends!" Virgin Group.
