Art in all its fundamental forms can be celebrated through the Italian luxury fashion house’s collaboration with Los Angeles’ resident visual artist, Joshua Vides.
The ‘Fendi Caffé’ is the perfect place where patrons can appreciate visual, culinary, and wearable art. All three are fused in an ingenious and very contemporary pop-up café at the fifth floor of Harrods along the Brompton Road in London. Joshua Vides’ aesthetic and pop art style coincide with Fendi’s chic visual and branding.
The entirety of the interiors of the café and bar were designed by him. In a way, his art is very transcendent, bridging the gap between the real world and one of imagination. He uses simple lines, geometric forms, and pure black n’ white color schemes to illustrate a comic vibe. Since Fendi has a rich Italian heritage, they also serve Mediterranean delicacies such as antipasto, beef carpaccio, the house special: aubergine, and lots more. In addition to that, they also offer breakfast & lunch options alongside their special Fendi logo-decorated cakes and pastries. One can also order a bag-shaped cookie for dessert.
The dining experience is elevated by both the delectable cuisine and the picturesque ambiance. It poses the challenge of customizing a bespoke bag.
The possibilities are endless when the control over the three core elements of a bag is given to the clients. At the bar, there are twenty reiterations of the body, twenty-five versions of the handle, and seven straps to choose from. Last but not the least; one may also purchase a Defender cover with their initials on it.
